With a bike trainer, cyclists never have to miss their daily training because of cold or inclement weather. Other cyclists can also avoid road hazards when exercising indoors with their bike trainers. A carefully chosen bike trainer will provide a smooth, comfortable and varied exercise experience.
Bike trainers generally get better and better as the price goes up, but there are some solid deals to be had in the lower price range (less than $100). To really maximize your workouts and exercise regimen, and to really feel like you’re on an authentic bike ride, spend the extra money to get a quality trainer. Customer reviews for the Bell Motivator Mag Indoor Bicycle Trainer:
The trainer itself is solid and works better than I could have hoped for, cost a lot less than buying an exercise bike. I am not a cyclist and bought this to simply turn a regular bike into an exercise bike. There was zero assembly required, just unfold it and place your bike in, super easy, when you want to ride the bike out on the street, it’s free in less than 30 seconds. – D. Dreyer

The build quality on the Bell is VERY solid. The bearings seem to be of high quality. The flywheel is machined and polished steel. It comes out of the box already assembled. Mounting the bike on the trainer was easily done alone. A skewer type quick release hub is included if needed – mp3support
